What's the role?
The role of Machinist I is responsible to provide superior sales support and customer service by working with the distribution team to ensure high quality and timely production of orders. Duties include, but are not limited to, operating machinery to assist in the customization of products as detailed and outlined by the Project Management Office (PMO).

What does the role involve?
Responsible for execution of manual/operational warehouse tasks: prepares and ships outbound parcels, maintains receipt of inbound product, performs cycle counts to maintain inventory, prepares bills of lading, and maintains a clean and safe working environment according to established organizational standards. Scope differentiator: experienced position in Warehouse Team Member job family, has responsibility for tasks of mid-complexity

What you need is:
High School Diploma or GED, required
Advanced Mechanical aptitude, required
Experience in production type operations; demonstrated competent and safe operation of heavy machinery and control systems in a schedule conscious production environment.
Ability to read and understand technical work instructions and job orders to competently perform required function and support production processes
Ability to perform visual inspections of materials being produced
Basic Computer Skills, required; experience using Windows applications and SAP, preferred
Basic Math Skills
Strong teamwork skills, reliability, and commitment
Ability to read and follow safety guidelines, required
Forklift Certification, required (once in position)
Distribution Center and/or Workshop environment
Up to 5% domestic travel for training purposes, required
Adverse Work Conditions
Erratic temperature control (hot in summer, cold in winter)
Frequently lift up to 75 lbs.
Must be able to tolerate a variable climate, prolonged standing, repetitive bending and reaching, and climbing up and down ladders
Safety Equipment Required:
Must observe and abide by all safety regulations as required by Hilti and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Canada Occupational Health and Safety Regulations (COSHR)
Must wear steel toe boots, safety glasses, safety vest, and other safety equipment as required when working in the warehouse and/or operating machinery
